OREANDA-NEWS. An online vote will be held in Moscow on the mandatory vaccination against coronavirus for certain groups of residents. Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Public Chamber Alexei Venediktov announced this in his Telegram channel.

According to him, the voting will take place on July 29-30. "I expect to receive about 100 thousand votes," the journalist added.

In mid-June, the head of the capital's Rospotrebnadzor, Elena Andreeva, issued a decree on compulsory vaccination against coronavirus for workers in some "contact" areas, in particular trade, services, transport, education, and so on.

Until July 15, at least 60% of employees of such organizations must be vaccinated with the first component of the vaccine, before August 15 - with two.

Vaccination takes place in all Russian regions. Back in August 2020, the Ministry of Health registered the world's first drug for the prevention of COVID-19, developed at the Academician Gamaleya National Center, Sputnik V.

In addition, Russian scientists have created the EpiVacCorona vaccines (the Vector Center under the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare) and KoviVak (the Chumakov Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences). In early May, it became known about the registration of the fourth drug - the one-component "Sputnik Light".
