OREANDA-NEWS. RIA Novosti news agency reported on April 9 that Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu, under the instruction of President Vladimir Putin, ordered to help Bosnia and Herzegovina in the fight against coronavirus infection.

On Thursday, three aircrafts Il-76 will deliver to this country 24 servicemen, as well as five units of military and special equipment. The Ministry noted that assistance will be provided in accordance with the appeal of the leadership of Republika Srpska (one of two entities of Bosnia and Herzegovina). The website of the government of Republika Srpska reported that the authorities thanked the Russian administration for providing medical equipment and materials.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense has already sent aid to fight against COVID-19 infection to Serbia, Italy, China and the United States.
