OREANDA-NEWS. The government of the Russian Federation published on its website a forecast privatization plan for 2020–2022.

The authorities expect that revenues to the federal budget will amount to 3.6 billion roubles (about 58.7 million US dollars) annually.

According to the plan, 86 federal unitary state enterprises, 186 joint-stock companies, state’s shares in 13 limited liability companies, as well as 1168 other objects will be privatized over a three-year period. The exact terms and methods of privatization will be determined “taking into account market conditions” and the recommendations of “leading investment consultants”.

The state plans to withdraw from the capital of the Makhachkala Commercial Sea Port, the Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port and Almazyuvelireksport working with precious metals and diamonds. In addition, Moscow plans to reduce its stake in VTB Bank, Rosspirtprom, Modern Commercial Fleet and Kizlyar cognac factory.
