OREANDA-NEWS. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin instructed the National Medical Research Center of Cardiology to give a drug from China to organizations that treat patients with coronavirus free of charge.

The Center should provide storage and free transfer to public and private organizations and clinics that treat patients with COVID-19, an “unregistered drug with the unpatented international name hydroxychlorochinum… in the amount of 68,600 packages delivered free of charge from the People’s Republic of China by the company Shanghai Pharmaceuticals Holding Co., Ltd.,” the document published on the legal information portal says.

In accordance with the law “On Circulation of Medicines,” the Federal Service for Supervision of Healthcare must monitor the effectiveness and safety of this medicine.
