OREANDA-NEWS. The refusal of the Russian authorities to practice direct payments of money to those who suffered from the crisis caused by the spread of the coronavirus infection, as it was done in other countries, is explained by the lack of resources. This was stated by Herman Gref, the CEO of Sberbank.

“If the United States of America can afford to emit… in a very short period of time 3 trillion dollars of debt, placing them on the market among investors around the world and putting them into their own economy, we have limitations. We do not have the market source of money that the United States or European countries have. We do not have so many instruments through which we can attract so much money,” Gref said.
