OREANDA-NEWS. BBC reports that Spanish authorities have eased restrictions imposed due to coronavirus epidemic. From April 13, builders, employees of factories and some services can resume work, but they must comply with all sanitary standards and safety rules. Builders will be able to work only in areas remote from residents. The police will distribute masks to citizens in the Madrid metro and at bus and train stations.

Restrictions will be removed in all regions of Spain, except Catalonia. The head of the regional administration, Quim Torra, said that the risk of a new outbreak of COVID-19 is too high, so the quarantine restrictions will not be removed.

At the same time, in Italy, the regime of universal isolation was extended until May 3. Nevertheless, from April 14, bookstores, stationery and children’s clothing shops will be able to resume work. Plants and factories will remain closed.
