OREANDA-NEWS. A database of Russians whose stuck abroad because of coronavirus and returning home, has been put up for sale, its authenticity has not been confirmed, technical director of DeviceLock Company Ashot Hovhannisyan told RIA.

According to him, the first announcement of it appeared in late April. The seller asked for $240 thousand for the database and claimed that it had 79.6 thousand lines. No evidence that this base exists and it is genuine, the seller did not provide, and a few days later removed the ad.

In June, a similar proposal appeared from another seller, who claims that the base is relevant for the current month and there are about 115 thousand lines. The data was estimated at 66.6 bitcoins (about $627 thousand, or about 385 rubles per line).

«Based on the information presented by the seller, we can say that the database has 58 columns, among which there are name, date of birth, passport data, address, telephone, e-mail, date of departure and entry from Russia, date of application on the portal of public services, as well as bank card and account data, foreign passport data and country of location,» said Hovhannisyan.

He explained that the database was most likely copied and leaked when transferred from one office to another via electronic communication channels.
