OREANDA-NEWS. The Kremlin denied rumors that the Russian authorities allegedly allow the possibility of nationalizing the property and companies of Russian entrepreneurs following foreign ones. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that this is a "clean duck" and recommended not to respond to such rumors, RIA Novosti reports.

This is another nonsense, which, of course, spreads like rumors. This is pure duck. Therefore, here you just need to maintain a sober mind and not react to such fictions,” the Kremlin spokesman said.

Earlier, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation said that the Kremlin has not yet formed a position on the idea of nationalizing enterprises that have announced their withdrawal from the Russian market. According to him, the nationalization of foreign companies may have negative consequences, as well as the arrest of Russian real estate in the European Union and the United States. Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, also announced the request of foreign enterprises to refuse nationalization. He added that temporarily retired companies want to return to the Russian market.

At the same time, the Ministry of Economic Development proposed to introduce an external management procedure in companies that have left Russia and are owned by foreigners by at least 25%. After the end of the external administration, the block of shares of the new company will be sold at auction.
