OREANDA-NEWS State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov called for pregnant women who smoke to be held accountable. He voiced this idea in a conversation with the Moscow City News Agency.

The politician also advocated restricting the sale of cigarettes to pregnant women and people with children. He explained this by the fact that the woman puts at risk the child for whom she is responsible. "For a child, it is a deadly poison. I would make pregnant women responsible for smoking cigarettes. This should not be done in any case," Milonov said.

In addition, according to the deputy, it is necessary to remove alcohol from grocery stores. He believes that alcoholic beverages should be in "separate sections." "So that people entering grocery stores would not see shelves with alcohol in front of them," the parliamentarian pointed out.
