OREANDA-NEWSThe American company Apple has confirmed the acquisition of Canadian startup Inductiv, specializing in the development of artificial intelligence technologies. This was reported on Thursday by Bloomberg.

Apple, as the agency points out, plans to apply the Canadian company's groundwork to improve its electronic assistant Siri. Inductiv has created a technology that uses artificial intelligence to detect and correct data errors. This is supposed to allow achieving better results using machine learning methods, significantly reducing the need for human participation.

This is not the first time, as Bloomberg notes, when a large US IT company acquires a small technology firm. In particular, Apple bought Voysis this year to improve speech recognition in Siri.
