OREANDA-NEWS  The ski resorts Krasnaya Polyana, Arkhyz and Lagonaki intend to build 550 kilometers of trails and in the future they are preparing to receive at least five million tourists a year, Vadim Trukshin, CEO of the Mantera Group of companies, said at a press conference.

"In the Caucasus, we have Krasnaya Polyana, the recently acquired Arkhyz resort and the projected Lagonaki resort. When all these three ski resorts are launched, taking into account the prospects for development, and connected by transport and hotels, we will get an analogue of the French resort "Three Valleys" with 550 kilometers of trails," Trukshin said. – This will allow receiving up to five million tourists annually. It will be the largest tourist ski agglomeration in Russia."

He noted that by the end of 2023, the tourist flow to the Krasnaya Polyana resort increased by 15 percent over the year and, according to preliminary results, received 1.3 million tourists. According to Trukshin, in 2023 the flow of tourists to the Arkhyz resort in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic increased by 20 percent compared to 2022.

The CEO of the Mantera Group of Companies noted that by 2030 at least 30 kilometers of ski slopes will be put into operation, 100 hectares of which will be equipped with an artificial snowmaking system. "This will allow extending the ski season on Arkhyz by 1.5 months," Trukshin said.

He also said that now the future resort "Lagonaki" in Adygea is undergoing the design stage, which will be completed in September 2024. As the press service of the Mantera group of companies clarified to RIA Novosti, investments in the construction of the Lagonaki resort have been adjusted and will amount to 29 billion rubles by 2028.
In November 2022, the director of the project office for the creation of the resort, Inver Kalashov, reported that more than 20 billion rubles of public and private investments will be directed to the implementation of the first stage of the Lagonaki resort project.
