The Rolling Stones Released a New Song for the First Time in Eight Years
OREANDA-NEWS. The Rolling Stones have released the new single Living in a Ghost Town and video that shows footage from deserted cities.
“I'm a ghost // Living in a ghost town. // You can look for me // But I can’t be found // You can search for me, // I had to go underground. // Life was so beautiful, // Then we all got locked down. // Feel like a ghost // Living in a ghost town” – these lines are accompanied by views of the abandoned streets of London, Cape Town, Oslo, Kyoto, Toronto, Los Angeles and Madrid.
Living in a Ghost Town became the first song of the legendary rock band in past eight years. Compositions Doom and Gloom and One More Shot were released on the compilation album Grrr! in 2012. In 2016, The Rolling Stones released the album of cover songs Blue and Lonesome.
