OREANDA-NEWS. KAMAZ PTC (part of Rostec State Corporation) has signed a collective agreement for 2017-2018. Signatures to the document regulating social and labour relations in the company were affixed by General Director of KAMAZ Sergey Kogogin and Chairman of the Trade Union Committee Aleksandr Vasilyev.

The draft agreement was elaborated primarily by the collective agreement committee, including KAMAZ managers representing KAMAZ as an employer and heads of trade union committees of the plants representing employees, and also deputy chairmen of KAMAZ's trade union committee. The balanced negotiations resulted in the collective agreement valid from 2017 to 2018 presupposing that all obligations should be performed.

All obligations under the previous collective agreement were left. To the legal act valid in the company from 2015 to 2016 introduced were amendments in the structure and contents of the new document, Thus, for example, thourough revision was applied to the section "Labour and Health Protection". Much clearer are now the company's obligations in provision of employees with drinking and soda water, special clothes and personal protection devices, temperature conditions in production buildings and offices. Besides, the section of social protection, benefits and services was widened by a new obligation regarding additional maternity leaves and other paragraphs.

As a result, the total sum of KAMAZ PTC's social expenses has jumped. This year, it is expected to spend RUB 782 mln for social benefits against RUB 737 mln in 2016.

"The draft collective agreement was worked out in cooperation with the trade union committee, taking into account the company's financial strength, which will further successful performance of the company's all social obligations for two years ahead," said Aleksandr Ushenin, Deputy General Director of KAMAZ PTC for HRM and Organizational Develolpment.
