OREANDA-NEWS. The BKW family continues to grow. The traditional Zurich-based company Inag-Nievergelt AG (Inag) is the latest addition to the BKW network of companies in the building technology sector. Inag is one of the leading installation suppliers in the sanitary engineering, heating and plumbing sectors in the greater Zurich area, reporting a turnover of more than CHF 40 million in the last financial year with its around 130 employees. BKW’s acquisition of Inag enables the Group to make significant advances in the strategic building technology field.

Inag-Nievergelt AG has sites in Zurich and Wetzikon. It is one of the leading suppliers in the sanitary engineering, heating and plumbing sectors in the greater Zurich area. The company’s roots go back to 1954, and the company has grown steadily over the past 20 years.

Renato Sturani, member of the BKW Group Executive Board, is delighted to welcome the latest addition to the BKW family. “Inag is a company with exceptionally professional management and has a lean structure. Inag enjoys a close relationship with its customers and has an excellent reputation.” Inag’s focus on the sanitary and heating business strengthens the existing portfolio offered by building technology firms in the BKW Group and offers customers the opportunity to access integrated solutions from a single source. Inag joins the existing network of building technology companies in the BKW Group, currently comprising 12 firms with over 500 employees. Inag will continue to be managed by its four existing directors, who will ensure continuity and keep a stake in the company. There will be no changes for the around 130 employees.
