OREANDA-NEWS. The technical solution for temporary conjugation of railway platforms on the track span Astana – the 40th station during the bridge construction over the “Akbulak”  creek was saved about 50 million KZT for JSC "NC" KTZ". The author of rationalization proposal – the head of production and technical department of the branch of JSC "NC" KTZ"-"Astana Station" Akyl Bilyalov.

In connection with the construction of a new railway station building it’s needed the fourth platform on the track span Astana – the 40th station. For the current second platform and in project fourth platform was built a single bridge.       For its construction required the closure of the second track of the track span from July 3, 2015 till April 20, 2016. This measure would significantly reduce the traffic of Astana station, as the train schedule provides 67 pairs of passenger and 95 pairs of freight trains on the remaining first and third tracks.   

The grade-crossing elimination structure of Astana station could not allowed to carry out a parallel arriving and passage of passenger trains.
