OREANDA-NEWS. September 5, 2008. Angarsk Electrolytic Chemical Combine (AECC, Abgarsk, Irkutsk region) has been reorganized from federal state unitary enterprise into open joint stock company, reports the press service of AECC.

100% of the shares of AECC are owned by the state. The OJSC is the legal successor of AECC FSUE and has succeeded all of its duties and obligations.

The change of the form of ownership will help AECC to introduce a corporate management and to create effective conditions for its further development. AECC will be incorporated into Atomenergoprom OJSC, a holding consolidating all assets of the civilian sector of the nuclear industry in the framework of the federal target program for development of Russia’s nuclear industry. All the key companies of the nuclear fuel cycle will be shortly incorporated into AECC.
