OREANDA-NEWS. April 15, 2009. With a view to developing a commodity distribution network abroad and increasing the export of alcohol beverages, the Belgospischeprom concern is setting up a joint venture to sell alcohol beverages in Poland, reported the Official website government.by.

The setting up of the Belarusian-Polish joint venture is envisaged in Resolution No 443 of the Council of Ministers of Belarus of April 8, 2009 “On monetary contributions to the authorized capital of a limited liability company to be set up in the Republic of Poland”.

The founders of the limited liability company include Minsk Kristall distillery, Trading House Belgospischeprom and Poland’s J&J Decor. Minsk Kristall will have a 31% stake in the company, Trading House Belgospischeprom – 20%, J&J Decor - 49%.

In 2008 the companies subordinate to the Belgospischeprom concern exported 251,500 decalitres of alcohol beverages, up 1.2% from 2007. In January-March 2009, the exports amounted to 71,200 decalitres, up 64.2% from the same period last year. The products are sold into 20 countries: Austria, China, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Guinea, Latvia, Lithuania, New Zealand, Poland, Vietnam, Turkey, the USA, Venezuela, Benin, Israel, Georgia, Russia, Azerbaijan.
