OREANDA-NEWS. February 03, 2011. On 27 January 2011 Kiev hosted a presentation of Ukraine's Most Reputable Employer 2010, a research organized by Reputation Capital and HeadHunter. SCM was named Ukraine's most reputable employer taking the 1st place in the ranking.

The research part of Ukraine's Most Reputable Employer 2010 project was launched in autumn 2010 within the Global Reputation Pulse's (The World's Most Reputable Companies) global research held by Reputation Institute, a recognized expert in reputation management. Fifty big Ukrainian companies participating in the contest were divided into three categories: banks (10 companies), biggest multinationals (10 companies) and biggest Ukrainian businesses (30 companies including SCM).

The respondents - jobseekers with different levels of labour market activity - evaluated every company on the basis of the following indicators:

•    emotional attitude

•    efficient treatment (reward system, company's market positions, corporate social responsibility, working conditions, professional growth)

•    support behaviour (rational indicators showing the readiness of the group to support the company).

The research showed that SCM is the most reputable employer among the biggest Ukrainian companies. Natalia Yemchenko, SCM Director of Public Relations and Communications, attended the awards ceremony.

"Responsibility, firstly to our employees, is a fundamental principle of SCM's business philosophy. For us responsibility doesn't mean only creating good working conditions. We strive to provide every employee with unlimited opportunities for professional growth. We believe it is no coincidence that SCM was highly appreciated in this particular category. Our philisophy of common growth will remain unchanged in the future and we encourage all Ukrainian employers to join it", noted Natalia Yemchenko.
