OREANDA-NEWS. October 17, 2011. Belarus plans to draw USD 400 million worth of credits from Iran, the National Bank of Belarus’ chief Nadezhda Yermakova told senators in Belarus’ parliament Monday.

Iran has already subscribed to the investment programme, Yermakova said.

The borrowed funds will go to replenish Belarus’ gold and foreign exchange reserves, the NBB chief said.

The investment programme will be discussed during Yermakova’s visit to Iran, which is due in October-November 2011.
