OREANDA-NEWS. February 25, 2013. The Abakan Airport reconstruction & Abakan-City construction projects worked out by BALT-AUDIT-EXPERT (the Energy Consulting Group) have been presented within the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum.

At the 10th Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum held, the Republic of Khakassia showcased own, the most crucial investment projects: Abakan- Montenegrin Agglomeration, Abakan Airport reconstruction & Abakan-City construction. The last two projects have been worked out at the end of 2012 by BALT-AUDIT-EXPERT by order of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure of the Republic of Khakassia within the framework of the Concept for the development of air-transport infrastructure in the Republic.

All showcased projects have sparked a huge interest of the participants of this convention. The highlight of the presentation was the Concept for the integrated development of Abakan Airport. The project focuses on transfer hub construction (airport ? coach terminal ? municipal transport) and formation of a modern multi-functional space on the area surrounding the airport – Abakan City consisting of the following buildings: hotel, business center, and shopping & leisure centers.

As Yuri Lapshin, Minister of Finance, the First Deputy Head of the Republic of Khakassia, have noted, the Republic, taking into account the Forum results, is looking forward to make new business arrangements and agreements with financial partners and investors to implement projects.
