OREANDA-NEWS. In 2013 Servis-Invest (DTEK) is upgrading the substations Zakhidnodonbaska and District CPP supplying electricity to industrial companies, households of Ternovka town and the nearby settlements in Dnipropetrovsk region. The investments in the equipment upgrade amount to 19 million hryvnias.

DTEK has been implementing the programmes on upgrading its power facilities commissioned in the 1970s. At Zakhidnodonbaska substation, the company is going to replace oil circuit breakers on the 35 kV side with modern vacuum circuit breakers, which are more space saving, convenient for operation and prevent oil leakages.

At District CPP substation, we are going to replace the outdoor switchgear of the 150 kV line, cable lines, repay protection and automation. The obsolete isolating switches and short-circuit switches are going to be replaced with modern SF6 circuit breakers of Siemens (Germany) manufacture.

"We upgrade the electrical networks and substations in order to improve the quality and reliability of power supplies",  said Oleh Tryfonov, the General Director of Servis-Invest LLC. "The new equipment complies with the latest technical, safety and environment standards. In 2013 we plan to invest 172 million hryvnias in the technical re-equipment of 150/110/35/6 substations".
