OREANDA-NEWS. On August 26, 2014 ABS Electrotekhnika shipped first batch of equipment for Thermal Power Station No.4, which is currently under reconstruction, in Ulan-Bator, Mongolia.

Five Relay Protection and Automation cubicles and RETOM universal testing system were delivered for the station. ABS Electrotekhnika is scheduled to ship three batches of equipment within the reconditioning project and also to perform installation supervision along with commissioning by the end of 2014.

Thermal Power Station No.4 in Ulan-Bator is a major national utility. In 2014 reconstruction of its central part was initiated in order to reinforce power capacity and to fulfill growing demands in thermal and electric energy of local industrial enterprises and private households.
