OREANDA-NEWS.. The Porsche company together with the designer and automotive enthusiast from France, Arthur Car, presented an art car based on the Porsche 968. The concept is made in the style of cars of the 90s of the last century.

This is reported by the press service of the manufacturer. A passionate fan of Porsche, Arthur Kar began his acquaintance with the cars of the German brand in a workshop in Lebanon. After earning money and moving to Paris in 2015, he opened his own workshop for the restoration and sale of cars. In 2017, Kar decided to expand his business and founded the streetwear label L'Art De L'Automobile in Paris.

The next step was a collaboration with Porsche, which resulted in a fancy speedster called 968 L'ART, created in honor of the 30th anniversary of the model 968. The design of the art car is made in the style of the 90s, which is now returning to the fashion world. The body is painted in a special shade of green, designed by Arthur Kar and his team specifically for the project.

Recaro bucket seats trimmed with ECCO EL3 leather were installed in the cabin. The Bose audio system will entertain the driver and his companion, and the travel time can be controlled using the exclusive TAG Heuer chronograph on the dashboard. Among the original solutions are customized taillights made in the style of sunglasses, which L'Art De L'Automobile offers to fashionistas.

After the presentation at Paris Fashion Week, the Porsche 968 L'ART will embark on a world tour. Over the next few months, he will visit fashion hangouts in London, Tokyo and Los Angeles as a stylish four-wheeled preacher of automotive culture around the world.

Meanwhile, Arthur already has thoughts and ideas for the next car based on the 993 GT2. He will add to his Porsche collection, which already includes the 911 GT2 RS, Carrera GT and 964. Kara's ambitious plans are to create a production car together with Porsche.
