OREANDA-NEWSThe Bank of Russia lowered its forecast for Urals oil prices for 2020 to $ 27 from $ 55 per barrel, for 2021 to $ 35 from $ 50 per barrel, follows from the medium-term forecasts of the regulator in a statement following a meeting of the board of directors.

For 2022, the forecast for the price of oil was also reduced - to $ 45 from $ 50 per barrel. "The spread of the coronavirus pandemic in Russia and the restrictive measures taken to combat it, as well as a drop in external demand and a further decline in oil and other export prices, have a significant negative impact on economic activity", the regulator said.

The collapse of the WTI, of course, pulled along with other varieties. So, the June Brent futures fell on April 21 below $ 20 per barrel.
