OREANDA-NEWS. September 02, 2016. The “Wine Queen” of vineyard De Kleine Schorre Nadien de Visser and the King’s Commissioner for the Province of Zeeland Han Polman were seated at the tasting table alongside KLM’s regular wine-tasting panel including professional wine connoisseurs Hubrecht Duijker, Harold Hamersma and Ronald de Groot. The panel, convened specially for the day, comprised more than 100 guests including KLM’s Frequent Flyers from the Netherlands, cabin crew members and customers of vineyard De Kleine Schorre.

During the tasting event, the panel conducted blind tests on four different wines, three of which were ultimately selected. The wines selected will be served on board in KLM’s World Business Class in 2017. They are all superb wines produced from the Pinot Blanc, Rivaner and Auxerrois grape varieties.
