OREANDA-NEWS. In 2016 Geely plans to sell 4,500 vehicles in the Russian market, thus to decrease sales by 60% compared to last year, as Igor Ovsyannikov, the CEO of Geely, informed, noted that the Company has a limited quantity of vehicles, which are supplied from Belgee plant.

For the first eight months of 2016 Russian dealers of Geely sold 3,555 vehicles, that is by 45% less than a year ago. Igor Ovsyannikov commented the sales results and noted that it is difficult to say that the situation of today’s market is stability. Compared with last year the market dropped by 18%, which affected the Geely sales.
