OREANDA-NEWS. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs again reminded Russians planning a trip abroad of the need not to ignore the recommendations and warnings of the Russian Foreign Ministry due to COVID-19, said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.

Zakharova said at the briefing: "We are once again addressing Russian citizens who are considering the possibility of going abroad, spending summer vacations abroad. We draw your attention to the relevance of the recommendations posted on the ministry's information resources when planning trips."

According to her, the Russian Foreign Ministry is asking Russians not to ignore the warnings that were given earlier, both of a sanitary and logistic nature.

"This is all more than relevant. You yourself see everything from the world situation," Zakharova added.

Meanwhile, in countries preparing to receive tourists, the strictest measures are being taken to ensure the safety of tourists and staff. So, in Egypt, millions of dollars were allocated to promote the country in foreign markets, unvaccinated employees will not be hired in the tourism sector, and large fines are already being issued for hotels that violate sanitary protocols, ATOR reports.
