OREANDA-NEWS  The Magnit retail chain will buy out the Kazan Express company and launch its trading platform under the Magnit Market brand on its basis, writes RBC with reference to representatives of Magnit and AliExpress.

"The geography and number of pick-up points will be "multiplied" by opening pick-up points in Magnit stores. The retailer also intends to develop product categories and attract new sellers," the article says with reference to a representative of Magnit.

The sellers were the "daughter" of AliExpress Russia (56.3%), the owner of FIX holding Sergey Eremeev (33.8%), as well as the founders of the marketplace Linar Khusnullin (7.8%) and Kevin Handa (2.1%).

The amount of the transaction was not disclosed. As the representative of Magnit clarified, the purchase will be financed from the company's own funds.
