OREANDA-NEWS. Retailer "Magnit" is trying to beat competitors through the development of a new format – alkomarketov under the brand "Magnit night". According to the publication, the first specialized shop "Magnit night" opens in Samara, its range includes about 2500 names. The retailer said that the test format for several months and the results of the experiment will decide on the further development of a network of such stores.

The General Director of "Infoline-Analytics" Mikhail Burmistrov is confident that "the Magnit of the evening" is a strategy of the retailer in development projects ultramage format. Among the existing sites, he lists shopping area, gas stations and shops in the offices of "Mail of Russia" (it's open now more than 500 points).

At the same time, likely specialty stores in the future will be divided into several subformats — area of about 200 sq m and 120-130 sq. m, predicts Mr. Burmistrov. "The company is considering and testing different options of retail outlets," confirms managing Director of retail chain "Magnit" Ruslan Ismailov.
