OREANDA-NEWS Deputies of the State Duma adopted in the third, decisive, reading the law on inclusion in the program “Far Eastern hectare” of the Republic of Buryatia and Trans-Baikal Territory.

At the first stage, from August 1, 2019 to February 1, 2020, only citizens of the Russian Federation registered at the place of residence in the specified subjects of the Russian Federation will be able to submit an application for the provision of a land plot.

At the second stage, it is planned to establish the possibility of granting land plots to citizens of the Russian Federation who have registration at the place of residence in the territories of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation that are part of the Far Eastern Federal District. It will run from February 1 to August 1, 2020.

According to politicians, this measure is necessary to combat the outflow of the local population and the involvement of unused land in the economic turnover. The corresponding document is published on the official website of the State Duma.
