OREANDA-NEWS  30 Russian companies of the agro-industrial complex (AIC) are represented at the Saudi Agriculture exhibition in Riyadh (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) with the support of the Russian Export Center (REC).

"This is the second time we are participating in this exhibition and this year, with the support of the REC, 30 agro-industrial companies came to Riyadh. The Kingdom's market is one of the priorities for Russian exporters. In terms of agriculture, the trade turnover has grown 1.5 times in recent years. A significant share of Russian supplies are cereals, but we would like more and more Russian finished food products to be presented on the shelves of Saudi Arabia stores," said Ruslan Tsargush, Managing Director for Export Support of the agro—industrial complex of the REC.

For this purpose, according to him, this year the sixth permanent pavilion of agricultural products abroad has already been opened for the REC, where local distributors can get acquainted with Russian products and evaluate their consumer qualities.

For exporters, the pavilion is not only a permanent exhibition, but also an opportunity to promote products through various marketing activities and compensate for the costs of listing in retail chains.

"This is one of the many areas of support for agricultural exporters from the REC, which amounted to more than $ 350 million in the Saudi market last year, i.e. every third dollar of our exporters' revenue from supplies to the Kingdom is earned using various measures to support the REC," Ruslan Tsargush said.

The largest international agricultural exhibition in the Middle East, Saudi Agriculture, takes place in Riyadh on October 23-26. The event brings together businessmen, industry experts, government representatives and sellers. This year the exhibition is being held for the 40th time.
