OREANDA-NEWS. Russian tourists vaccinated with Sputnik Light will be able to enter Thailand under the "sandbox" program without going through quarantine. Relevant information is published on the website of the Department of Consular Affairs.

The option for those vaccinated with a single dose of "Sputnik Light" has already been entered into the ThailandPass electronic system. It can only be selected for quarantine-free entry into the country under the program of "tourist sandboxes" - closed zones in which the traveler must stay for the first few days of his stay in Thailand before gaining full freedom of movement.

It is clarified that the rules for those vaccinated with Sputnik Light are similar to the conditions that apply to those vaccinated with Sputnik V for entry under the sandbox program.

In addition to the immunization certificate, you need a negative PCR test received 72 hours before the trip, a hotel booked for at least seven nights, a transfer, as well as two more PCR tests paid in advance (the first on arrival, the second on the fifth or sixth day of stay in Thailand) and an insurance policy covering at least $50,000.

Another scheme of quarantine-free entry Test & Go, open to Russians since February 1, is not subject to permission for Sputnik Light. This program still requires two shots of Sputnik V.
