OREANDA-NEWS. Russia will resume flights with Serbia, Cuba and Japan. This was reported by the national headquarters for the fight against coronavirus infection. The corresponding order was signed by Prime Minister of the country, Mikhail Mishustin.

The weekly number of flights will be limited. There will be two of them to Serbia, from Moscow to Belgrade. The same number of planes will fly from Russia to Cuba. These are the directions Moscow – Cayo Coco and Moscow – Santa Clara. Air traffic with Japan will resume from November 1. There will be three flights a week: two from Moscow to Tokyo, one from Vladivostok to Tokyo.

The decision to resume flights with Serbia, Cuba and Japan was made by the authorities on the basis of a number of criteria. So, in these countries, less than 40 new infections per 100 thousand of the population were detected in two weeks, and the daily increase during the same period did not exceed 1 %.

In addition, the authorities decided to increase the number of flights on previously opened routes.
