Russia will Resume Flights with Two More Countries
OREANDA-NEWS. Russia has been resuming flights with France and the Czech Republic since July 24, the operational headquarters for combating the spread of coronavirus infection told reporters.
Tatyana Golikova, Deputy Prime Minister, held a special meeting of the operational headquarters in order to prevent the entry and futher spread of new strains of coronavirus infection in Russia.
It was decided that Russia would resume regular flights with France and the Czech Republic. So far, only from Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Passengers can fly to these countries starting from July 24, according to the operational headquarters for the fight against coronavirus.
"On the basis of the results of the meeting and taking into consideration the epidemiological situation in above-mentioned countries, it was decided to resume regular communication with them on a reciprocal basis ," the headquarters said.
From Moscow it will be possible to fly to Paris, Nice and Prague four times a week. From St. Petersburg to Paris and Nice passengers can do it twice a week.
From July 24, the frequency of flights to Austria, Belgium, Hungary, Lebanon, Croatia and Ethiopia will increase. In total, Russia has resumed air traffic with 48 states.
Charter flights to Egypt have been resumed earlier. Flights resumed after 6 years. The first planes with tourists can leave for the land of the pyramids in mid-August. Since July 12, Rosaviatsia has allowed flights to Turkey from 13 more Russian cities.
