6635 New Cases of Coronavirus Were Detected in Russia

OREANDA-NEWS. On the 10th of July 6635 COVID-19 patients were detected in Russia, 25.2 percent of them have no symptoms. This was reported by the operational headquarters for the fight against the spread of coronavirus.
The largest number of infected people is still in the capital (+ 637 cases). Next on the list: Saint Petersburg (+ 300), Sverdlovsk region (+ 275), Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug (+ 263), Altai territory (+ 240) and Nizhny Novgorod region (+ 219). The lowest number of new cases is in the Chechen Republic and the Jewish Autonomous region (five each), as well as in Chukotka and Sevastopol (one each).
7752 patients recovered and 174 died.
The previous day, 6,509 new cases were reported. Thus, during the entire period of the epidemic, 713,936 people infected with coronavirus were registered in 85 Russian regions, more than 11,000 of them died, and 489,068 were cured.
In the world, according to WHO, there are already more than 11.8 million patients with COVID-19, at least 545 thousand of them have died. The United States, Brazil, and India are among the countries most susceptible to the virus, according to estimates from Johns Hopkins University. Russia is in fourth place, followed by Peru, Chile, great Britain, Mexico, Spain, Iran, Pakistan and Italy.
