OREANDA-NEWS  On October 17 in Brussels the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin held a meeting with the First Vice-President of the European Commission for the Better Regulation, Inter-Institutional Relations, Rule of Law and Charter of Fundamental Rights Frans Timmermans.

The sides discussed the issues of Ukraine-EU agenda, in particular the perspectives of the Visa liberalization for Ukrainian citizens and the completion of ratification of the Association Agreement.

During the meeting the situation in the eastern Ukraine and implementation of the Minsk agreements were also discussed. Ukraine’s Foreign Minister emphasized the need for the EU consolidated position in further pressure on Russia until Ukraine's territorial integrity restored.
