OREANDA-NEWS. Prime Minister Pavel Filip today attended a ceremony on the handing of master diplomas to the 19th series of graduates of the Academy of Public Administration.

At the event, the prime minister congratulated the graduates of the institution, stressing the important role of the civil servant in carrying out the reforms initiated by the cabinet. «The quality of the graduates of this Academy is directly proportional with the one of the teacher and the quality of services and the citizens’ well-being is directly proportional with the capacity of the public administration. Even if we have worked out concepts of reforms in more sectors, the fundamental reform implemented in Moldova is the one of the public administration,» Pavel Filip said.

The Prime Minister informed the graduates about the need to reform the public administration, both the central and local ones, stressing that a competent public administration represented the foundation for the country’s development. Filip also said that the reform had started from the State Chancellery, would continue with the one of the government, local public administration and will end with the administrative and territorial reform.
