OREANDA-NEWS. On September 14, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will have a meeting with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development of France Jean-Marc Ayrault. The parties are to discuss prospects of restoration of full operation of the Normandy format pursuant to the arrangements reached following the trilateral phone conversation that took place on September 9. The parties will coordinate measures to exert pressure on Russia aimed at ensuring the fulfillment of the security component of the Minsk agreement by the Russian side.

Special attention will be paid to the advancement in the liberation of Ukrainian hostages in Donbas and Ukrainian political prisoners illegally detained in Russia.

The President will also hear the report of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany as the OSCE CiO on the ways to strengthen the role of the given organization in the implementation of the Minsk agreements.

On the same day, the President will also meet with Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of Great Britain Boris Johnson. The agenda of negotiations includes the UK-Ukraine interaction in countering the aggression of Russia in Donbas and the European integration policy of Ukraine taking into account further UK relations with the EU.
