OREANDA-NEWS  Chinese automakers, in an attempt to capture the Russian market after the departure of competitors, are making essentially the same mistake as the first time. Elena Lisovskaya, a blogger and auto expert, a specialist in buying used cars, told RBC about this in an interview.

If 15 years ago they tried to sell cheap scary "buckets" in Russia, now the general problem is the hasty launch of new models to the market, for which it is impossible to provide service. As a result, the owner of a new car, for example, will damage the wing, and then for months he tries to find it. Insurance does not help, because they offer to take money, but if even a dealer cannot find a spare part, then the owner has even more difficult.

"They tell him, "Order in China." Well, great, you buy a car from an official dealer in order to look for spare parts in China yourself!" she explained the reason for the outrage.

Buyers of Chinese cars are faced with the fact that there is no service support, there is no adequate guarantee, Russification is partial and "crooked", some models are generally unsuitable for Russia. For example, in one of the cars officially sold, Lisovskaya noticed artisanal buttons for heating the steering wheel and seats.

At the same time, inexplicable things sometimes happen in the domestic market. Some models that work well in Russia are considered low-income cars in China. At the same time, it is impossible to sell cars unfamiliar to a Russian buyer, although they are much more valuable in China.

"There is no good attitude of dealers, there is no good service, no replacement cars for the repair period. It's like we're starting again from the 1990s," the expert concluded.

Earlier, the president of Avtovaz, Maxim Sokolov, called for raising the recycling fee for foreign cars again so that they become more expensive. According to him, Chinese automakers are entering the traditional market segments of Lada models and offering more attractive conditions, which threatens the sales of the automobile plant.
