OREANDA-NEWSThe Vietnamese authorities established a 15-day regime of self-isolation of citizens in the country in the context of the spread of the coronavirus in the country. This was announced on Tuesday by the country's Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Fook.

"From midnight on April 1, everyone should stay at home, allowed to go out only to buy food and in cases of emergency", the Xinhua News Agency quoted the prime minister as saying. He also noted that "everyone should observe a distance of at least 2 meters from other citizens".

The first case of coronavirus infection was recorded in Vietnam on January 23, as of the morning of March 31, 204 people were identified in the country. Over the past period, 55 people from the number of infected have completely recovered.
