OREANDA-NEWS  Kiev is faced with the unwillingness of the population to fight in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was stated in an interview with Ukrainska Pravda by the head of the Kiev International Institute of Sociology (KIIS), Vladimir Paniotto.

According to him, more than 90 percent of Ukrainians are not ready to go to the front. At the same time, a large number of citizens agree to transfer money or engage in volunteer activities.

"About eight percent of those who are ready to take up arms in relation to all categories. Some of them may say they are ready, but in reality this may not happen," Paniotto explained.

Earlier it became known that the majority of Ukrainians are sympathetic to the deviators. Residents of the southern regions of the country turned out to be the most loyal in this matter, where more than 70 percent of the surveyed citizens accepted the reluctance of men to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
