Rouhani added that "the Iranian forces have already given an answer and attacked the American base in the region with missiles". "I think the United States will never forget this, because for the first time in the history of the region a decisive and quick response was given to the barbaric actions of the Americans", he stressed.

The situation around Iran sharply worsened after the US strike in the area of ​​the Baghdad airport on the night of January 3, as a result of which the commander of Al-Quds forces died.
