OREANDA-NEWS. Alexey Arestovich, adviser to the Ukrainian delegation in the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbass, told why Kiev should prepare for a scenario of a full-scale war in Donbass.

In his opinion, Ukraine is "at the turning point of geopolitical plates, at the turning point of eras," and it will have to participate in many more armed conflicts.

"It seems to me that the world has begun to move, and we will deal with a war of all against all, in the gray zones, at least until 2035," Arestovich said on the air of the Ukraine 24 TV channel.

He added that for Kiev "there are potential conflicts" outside the conflict in Donbass.

The conflict in eastern Ukraine has been going on for seven years, about 13 thousand people have become victims. The settlement is being discussed at the meetings of the contact group in Minsk, but after the armistice agreements, shootings continue.

Since February, the situation began to deteriorate: in particular, there was an attempt on the life of the battalion commander of the People's Militia of the DPR, Ukrainian security forces fired mortars at Gorlovka and the outskirts of Donetsk, and the fighting intensified. The self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics believe that Kiev is preparing a large-scale offensive, pulling new forces to the line of contact. In recent days, videos from different Ukrainian regions have been published on social networks, showing trains with military equipment.
