This was reported on Friday by the central newspaper of the people's republic. According to the publication, the DPRK leader Kim Jong-un, who "expressed great satisfaction" with the test results, personally observed the missile launches. "As a result of fire tests of the rocket system, its superiority and reliability were confirmed", said Rodong Sinmun.

According to the newspaper, rocket launches were carried out at the test site of the DPRK Academy of National Defense. The publication does not provide details about the type and technical characteristics of the rocket launcher, which was used to launch.
