OREANDA-NEWS Rosatom received subsidies worth 117 billion rubles in 2023, CEO Alexey Likhachev said. The enterprises of the state corporation paid three times more taxes to the budget — 411.1 billion rubles. The revenue of the state corporation for non-nuclear business exceeded 1 trillion rubles.

Mr. Likhachev shared some of Rosatom's indicators with the Expert magazine. "The implementation of projects of national importance does not relieve us of our obligations to be a cost—effective organization and create commercially attractive products, because this is one of the conditions for our successful promotion, including in international markets," he said. According to him, the corporation receives subsidies primarily for participation in national projects and for the implementation of the nuclear national project "Development of equipment, technologies and scientific research in the field of nuclear energy use."

Rosatom has a portfolio of more than 80 non-nuclear businesses. The portfolio of orders for them is 3 trillion rubles. According to Mr. Likhachev, they are one of the key factors in the growth of the state corporation. As an example, he cited the operation of the digital block: the Logos, SARUS, and Atom platforms. RITA", "Atom-Mine" and data processing centers. The revenue of the digital direction amounted to more than 40 billion rubles.
