OREANDA-NEWS   The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) considers Russia its strategic partner, primarily in security matters, Mansour Al-Marzouki, head of the Center for Strategic Studies at the Prince Saud Al-Faisal Institute for Diplomatic Studies, told RIA Novosti.

"Saudi Arabia looks at Russia with confidence and considers it its strategic partner in matters of stability and security. This is the most important thing for us," Mansour Al-Marzouki told the agency during a meeting of the Hakimov Club political science platform on the topic "The Middle East dimension of Russian politics in the context of global transformation" in Moscow.

Mansour Al-Marzouki noted that there are other points of contact between Saudi Arabia and Russia.

"But addressing issues of security, stability and peace remains top of the agenda of the modern world," he said.

The meeting of the Hakimov Club was held with the support of the A. M. Gorchakov Foundation for Public Diplomacy and the Foundation for the Support of Islamic Culture, Science and Education.
