OREANDA-NEWS The American company Procter&Gamble which owns Always, Gillette, Pampers, Tide, Oral-B brands commented on the information on the risk of complete withdrawal from the Russian market amid the Ukrainian crisis and sanctions pressure.

The company said that it has adapted its business in accordance with the constantly changing situation, according to the material of Lenta.ru. P&G added that its operations in Russia have already been restructured. 

Earlier Reuters reported on the risk of P&G's complete withdrawal from Russia. The agency indicated that a potential withdrawal from the market is associated with sanctions, financial constraints and supply problems. In early March, P&G said it had ceased investments in Russia and advertising activity.

P&G has two major operations in Russia. A plant in the Tula region produces cleaning and cleansing products and diapers; a plant in St. Petersburg specializes in disposable razors and razor blades.
