OREANDA-NEWSChinese authorities have resumed cargo traffic through three border crossing points on the border with Russia. This was announced on Wednesday by the Russian Embassy in China.

"According to Chinese authorities, from April 8 (Wednesday) freight traffic will be resumed through the following border crossings at the Russian-Chinese border: Border - Suifenhe, Poltavka - Dunning, Turiy Rog - Mishan", the report said. The freight traffic through the indicated checkpoints was stopped by the Chinese side on April 6 due to the epidemic situation and the inability to provide a centralized check and quarantine of the increased cargo and passenger flow.

Since April 7, the PRC authorities temporarily closed the passenger corridor at the checkpoint at the Suifenhe-Pogranichny border crossing (Primorsky Territory) to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
