OREANDA-NEWS. The deputy head of the military-civilian administration of the Kherson region, Kirill Stremousov, said that Ukraine began to open criminal cases against specialists who continued to work in the region after the arrival of Russian forces. Among those who fell under criminal prosecution were, among other things, health workers and teachers. It is reported by TASS.

Stremousov expressed his gratitude to the Crimea and its head Sergei Aksenov for the assistance provided, including in relation to personnel.

“For example, we are waiting for teachers from Crimea to help our schools adapt to Russian education standards. Because while our teachers and doctors continue to live in fear, they think that going to work may result in criminal cases that the Ukrainian side is now initiating due to the manifestation of any kind of assistance, ”Stremousova quotes the publication.

He added that at present there are already cases of initiating such cases “on any fact of any cooperation”, up to the distribution of humanitarian aid. For this, Kyiv, according to Stremousov, can incriminate treason with the prospect of receiving from 15 years in prison to life imprisonment.

Despite this, according to him, schools in the Kherson region are scheduled to open on September 1, since many teachers, as well as doctors, do not give up their work.

Earlier it was reported that the deputy head of the military-civilian administration of the Kherson region, Kirill Stremousov, called on the local residents of the region not to be afraid of intimidation from Ukraine about a future offensive and assured that the Russian Armed Forces would protect the local population.
