OREANDA-NEWS. The Ministry of Defense of the unrecognized Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh reported that on Monday 11 soldiers died. According to the published lists, as of November 1, the death toll of the military was 1,165. On Monday, a list with 11 names of the victims was published on the website of the agency.

The fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh began on 27 September. Armenia and Azerbaijan accuse each other of unleashing hostilities; they report of shelling of peaceful settlements of the unrecognized republic, including its capital, Stepanakert. Armenia has declared martial law and general mobilization, claiming that Turkey is actively supporting Baku. In Azerbaijan, partial mobilization and martial law in a number of regions was introduced. The leaders of Russia, the United States and France called on the opposing sides to end the clashes and to undertake to begin negotiations without preconditions.
